Bodies and Souls: The Century Project by Frank Cordelle

Bodies and Spirits By Frank Cordelle
Bodies and Souls – The Century Project by Frank Cordelle – Age and other factors that change the body can feel like a boon to many people, but, more often than not, for many it feels like a curse. Puberty is a daunting prospect as well as physical blemishes, and the idea of reaching old age.

Though such fears change both sexes, girls and women appear to be the prime recipients of these nervousness. It requires a particular man to help ease the potential insecurities that females feel.
Enter photographer Frank Cordelle, who has received praise and for his avant-garde pictures of females of all ages. What has actually given his work attention isn’t that it’s women of most ages, from birth to old age, but that they may be taken in the nude. But these aren’t super models.
These are girls with blemishes and incapacity, from the very young to the old and wrinkled. Some are fat and a few are lean. And a considerable body of his work has been contained in a publication entitled Bodies and Souls: The Century Project.
Bodies and Souls is a most gorgeous piece of work, filled with women from all walks of life.
The book starts out, just as it states, with a birth. We then proceed to children, to naturist free videos , to young adults, to middle age, reasoned by a ninety-four year old woman. While some girls would fit into society’s definition of attractive, there are a lot who doesn’t. Some are missing breasts, some have scars, some are heavy and aside from your physical features, some have emotional baggage in which they’re weeping in the photos (This procedure, it turns out, helps them cure).
A number of these young girls and women also have written their testimonies in the novel, stating how such a project has been beneficial and helpful to their emotional well being. Some of the stories are amusing and lighthearted, others heartbreaking, but all of them express a profound sense of gratitude to Cordelle for letting them be a part of this undertaking.

A lot of people are taken aback and surprised to see such candid photos of real women. Some have a hard time handling it. How frequently is it that society is requested to accept the body of an obese woman who are naked no less, or of a naked girl in a wheelchair?
Stripping away the clothing actually does help the viewer to see and accept them as real individuals.
Consequently, the nudity in this novel, far from being degrading or a cheap gimmick, helps the viewer to see women and girls as they really are, as living breathing beings, worthy of reverence and admiration. I have frequently been disgusted with the way girls are treated in society. Derogatory remarks, pornography, and other unhealthy ways we treat women will not be great for their self-esteem, nor is it good for society. It’s critical to remember they are our mothers, daughters, sisters and wives.
Bodies and Souls does much to help sweep away insalubrious viewpoints that men have of women and that women have of their bodies. By stripping these girls with blemishes, naked and bare, the photographer continues to be able to help us identify with them more, along with the models identifying together.
Naturists, who are frequently supporters in the philosophy of “everybody is lovely,” will find much to understand concerning this fine work of art as it bolstered their already aforementioned certainties. Every naturist should have a copy of the book in his or her personal library.
Cordelle has given the world an excellent gift with this book packed with hope and understanding. I am only able to hope that more people will peruse its pages, reading the wonderful messages of hope from females of ages and all walks of life.
